Joeun Jung is a visual artist born and raised in Busan, South Korea and is currently based in Busan. Jung uses various mediums including painting, photography, and sculpture to explore her drive for control in everyday life. She uses art to cope with and acknowledge the inability to manage the unruliness of space and time. She earned a bachelor's degree in Studio Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a master's degree in Design from Pusan National University.
